What seemed like something that would go on forever, being self perpetuated by the people, ideas, and directed chaos at the show is now over, in the proverbial blink of an eye. As I woke this morning, I realized I didn't have to hustle to get dressed, grab my laptop and other items to get me through the day at the conference, and hustle out the door to the Moscone Center. Somehow that feels wrong. I knew it wouldn't last forever, but at the same time I feel a bit empty today, lacking the routine that in just a few short days became my life.
To say the whole experience is like taking a blender to ones brain for three (or in my case five, with the un-conference and the post conference sprint), is a bit of a pale way to describe it. With over xxx sessions, countless bof sessions, supports, and contributors to drupal all challenging your perceptions of both the platform and the community, sometimes in hour long chunks, sometimes just catching conversation as you hustle to that next session to get a good seat and be able to plug into a power cord to charge your laptop, well, my mind is still processing everything that I saw, talked about, and listened to. I hope I continue to process it for sometime to come, its an awesome feeling.
For those that missed it, or couldn't clone themselves into multiple copies to catch all the sessions that they wanted to, many, if not all of the sessions and keynotes are up on the drupalcon website. There's also a flickr pool of images from the conference for you to enjoy.
Until next con, Thanks Dries!
